If Computers And Books Were Compared

Engadget posted this cool YouTube post of a funny video where a guy is confused about how to use a new book since he's so used to reading from scrolls.

Oh, Brother...

If the excuse this guy is claiming is true then he should have sought help before he was fired. Besides, even a drug addict would have been fired. Why should this be any different (or the same as this guy is claiming).

Is It Any Wonder?

I like Lost. I used to really like it but so far this season has been a bust. I understand that the network tried to do something new and this might have been abrupt for the writers and show runners but the experiment is failing. The first six episodes (the first "half" of the season, shown in October and November of 2006) were quite boring. They used six episodes to move one story along as far as it would have likely gotten had it been included with others, which they didn't.

So it comes a very little surprise to me to see that this last episode was the lowest rated episode of the show, so far. Not only that but I thought that whole episode was really quite boring. I really dislike the character of Charlie. Hurley was only in this episode for face time; he didn't really add anything (or do much for that matter). Then I was completely unimpressed with Desmond's story. What is that whole deja vu/visions of the future thing?

All The Good Candidates

I guess there are some good things about living in certain areas. It looks to me like one of the things you can get in Minnesota (outside of California, that is) are the best candidates to vote for.

What Do They Think?

The American auto industry has been lagging behind Asian importers (who even make their cars here in the US of A) since they started selling over here. They've resorted to selling their cars at rock bottom prices and now it comes as no surprise to me to see that not as many people are buying cars right now. People will always need cars but after glutting it seems that only people who really need them are buying now.

And We Should Believe You Because...?

I think Bush has cried "Wolf" once too often to have retained his credibility.

Paula Abdul Is Doing Crack, Evidently

This was just too good of a line to pass up commenting on. There is an article on USAToday.com where Paula Abdul is quoted as saying
I've never been drunk. I have never done recreational drugs," she says. "Just look at my 20-year career. Tell me someone who is into partying or doing drugs that could have done that."
Has she never heard of The Rolling Stones? The Beatles weren't around for 20 years but together or separately they have. What kind of a defense is that?

Heroes 360 ARG

Anyone else out there trying out the Heroes 360 Alternate Reality Game (ARG)? I got a text message directing me to go log in for a third profile at the Primatech Paper site but the password I was texted didn't work. I received "TSntz14b" (without quotes) but that didn't get me into anything I hadn't already accessed. Anyone know anything else?
